Elizabeth Jane Brook April 8, 2015 Elizabeth Jane Brook, 69 SCARBOROUGH - Elizabeth Jane Brook, who was called Bette by her friends and family, passed away peacefully at her home yesterday, April 8, 2015, after being diagnosed with cancer in late January. She left the world in a better place through the way she treated and served others with love and kindness.~Bette and her husband Ron loved to travel, spend time with friends and family, and entertain at their beautiful house overlooking the Scarborough marsh. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will be getting an amazing angel. The next time you walk on the beach please think of this wonderful person we called wife, mom, friend, sister, or granny and say a prayer.~But most of all she would want you to just enjoy the day. Bette is survived by her amazing and loving husband Ron; and her two sons Chris and Tim and their families; and her sister Kathy Gryglas. There will be a viewing at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland, this Saturday, April 11, from 12-2 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at the Italian Heritage Center, 40 Westland Ave., Portland, from 2-5 p.m.~Please join us to celebrate an amazing woman!
