Edith J. Burns March 29, 1927 November 17, 2013 Falmouth - Edith J. Burns, Passed away peacefully November 17, 2013. She was a resident of Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth, Maine. She was born March 29, 1927 in Mount Kisco, New York, the daughter of James and Edith (Ludwig) Joseph. Edith attended White Plains High School and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She later worked at United Nuclear, AMF and was a retiree of New York Telephone Company Edith was predeceased by her husband, Thomas R. Burns; brothers, James and Warren. She is survived by her daughter Martha Conway and her husband Ed, her son Roger Burns and his wife Nicola, her son James and his wife Sharon as well as five grandchildren; Natalie, Haley, Adam, Gwendaline and Oliver. She is also survived by her sister in law Sally Joseph and several nieces and nephews. Services are private.
