Donna E Robichaud July 17, 1937 September 18, 2015 Portland Donna E Robichaud, 78, died at home Friday September 18, 2015 surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Donna was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on July 17, 1937 the daughter of Lester and Helen (Hayford) Hill. She grew up and attended schools in Portland, graduating from Old Cathedral High School with the class of 1955. Donna met the love of her life Joseph Robichaud who she married in 1963, and together they raised their five children. Donna was an avid New England sports fan, and season ticket holder to the original Maine Mariners and Portland Pirates hockey teams. She also loved dancing, working in her garden, and traveling with her husband to her grandchildren's sporting events. Donna is survived by her husband, Joseph of Portland; her son, Paul Jacobsen and his wife Xianmin of Gray, her daughter, Shelley Simpson and her husband, Kerry of Falmouth, and her son, Donald Robichaud and his wife, Mary of Stephens City Virginia; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Paul Jacobsen Sr.; and two sons Michael Jacobsen and Kevin Robichaud. Family and friends may attend a time of visitation Wednesday, September 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a prayer services will follow at 7:00 pm at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave. Portland. Graveside Services will be held at 12 pm on Thursday September 24, at Pinegrove Cemetery, 9 Waites Landing Road, Falmouth.
