Donald R. White March 21, 1942 September 11, 2014 Donald R. White 72 of Westbrook passed away September 11, 2014. He was born and grew up in Portland, Maine, the son of Graham White and Alice McKinnon White. Don attended Portland schools, graduating from Portland High School in 1960, where he was a member of the band. After a short time in the Air Force, he worked at Porteous Mitchell as a truck driver, working there until they closed in mid 1990s. Don went on to drive long distance for a company in Baldwin until his retirement. He was a 4th degree Knight and a long time member of the Assembly 337 Knights of Columbus. Don was predeceased by both of his parents. He is survived by his sister, Nancy A. Bailey of Scarborough, a good Friend Bonnie Douglas of Bridgton, and nieces Betsy Hamm of Scarborough and Ann Farr of Milford NH. His family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Springbrook Center in Westbrook for the wonderful care they gave to Don over the last year.
