Donald N. Cass, Sr. June 18, 2014 Sarasota, Florida - Beloved Donald N. Cass Sr, 74, unexpectedly passed away June 18, 2014 at his home in Sarasota. He was a long time resident of South Portland and Naples, ME. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline E. Cass, his parents Fern and Kenneth Cass Jr and his sister Nancy Cass (Pope). Donald proudly served as a specialist in the US Army. He returned home where he worked for various carpentry companies, including self employment in the South Portland area, Junipers in Yarmouth, LLBean in Freeport and State Street Apartments in Portland. He leaves behind his sisters Judy Cass Spencer and Janis Cass Barrows. His children Donald N. Cass Jr and Jeanna Gregor. Grandchildren Elizabeth Conley, Sgt Christopher J. Gregor, Nicholas Gregor, Alyssa Gregor. Great-grandchildren Carol-Lin Gregor, Addison Gregor and Wesley James Gregor, as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday July 11th, 2014 at the New Calvary Cemetery in South Portland. Family will be attending a gathering at the Weathervane Resturant in South Portland following the service.
