Derek M. Cressey, 37, Windham Derek M. Cressey passed away while skiing in Breckenridge, CO on March 8, 2018. He was born in Portland on September 20, 1980. Derek grew up in Windham and was a 2000 graduate from Windham High School. He was most recently employed by Titan Mechanical and W.H. Demons before starting his own business - DC Plumbing and Heating in 2013. He enjoyed boating, skiing, riding his Harley, and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved surrounding himself with family and friends. Strangers he met quickly became his friends. Derek had a great sense of humor and he knew how to bring the best out in people. He is predeceased by his father, Dean Cressey   Derek is survived by his loving wife, Erica (Christiansen) Cressey and their two sons, Brecken and Kellan. He is also survived by his mother Joleen (Merrill) Guidi and his stepfather Larry of Windham; his sister Kendalee Cressey and her daughters Ella and Addison Farris of Falmouth; sister-in-law, Rebecca Costa and her husband Jimmy and their children Lydia and Jack of Durham; and in-laws, Bruce and Debra Christiansen of Windham. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.   Visiting hours will be held at A. T. Hutchins Funeral Home in Portland on Friday, March 16th from 3 - 7 pm. A reception will be held at Rustler's Steakhouse in Windham on Sunday, March 18th from 12-4 pm.
