Deborah Golden Bargad February 10, 1961 April 1, 2013 Portland - Deborah Golden Bargad, 52, of Portland, passed away on April 1, 2013 at Mercy Hospital. She was born on February 10, 1961 in Brookline, MA, the daughter of Martin and Martha (Corrigan) Bargad. She grew up in Peabody, MA and lived for the last ten years in Portland. Debbie enjoyed many hobbies, including going to the movies, going out to eat and shopping. She loved to knit, joining various knitting clubs. She was an avid reader of a wide variety of books and had an extensive book collection. She especially enjoyed spending time at holidays and gatherings with her companion Ken's family. Debbie was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Sam Bargad of Los Angeles, her aunt Sandra Gould, her cousin Noah Weinstein, her long-time companion, Ken Reynolds of Portland and her close friends Donna Dusseault and her husband Art of South Portland. A celebration of Debbie's life will be held at the residence of Donna and Art Dusseault , 50 Cornell St, South Portland, on Saturday April 6, 2013 from 2 to 4pm.
