Dean Frederick McKenna October 22, 1960 March 23, 2016 Portland Dean Frederick McKenna, 55 passed away at 5:55am on March 23, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Portland. He was born on October 22, 1960 in Portland, the son of the late Harry Donald and Janice Elizabeth (Furbish) McKenna. He was awarded his High School Equivalency, GED, on April 23, 1986. He was a cook for several years at St. Joseph's College in Standish and a delivery driver for Dunkin Donuts. In his spare time he enjoyed life with family and friends. He loved fishing with Don on the boat, and home cooked meals at Dan and Mary's. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins, but enjoyed son; Garet's sporting events even more. He loved taking trips to Boston with son Dean and spending time with his grandchildren. He was always cooking and trying to feed people he cared about. Surviving Dean are his 2 sons, Dean Frederick Goodwin Sr. and Garet Davis McKenna and his mother, Kerry Graham, 3 grandchildren, Jaden Elizabeth Goodwin, Logan Suzanne Goodwin and Dean Frederick Goodwin, Jr. He is also survived by brothers, Don and wife, Dorothy McKenna, Dan and wife, Mary McKenna, and Dave McKenna of Arizona, several nieces, nephews including Ryan McKenna, Allison McKenna, Mac McKenna and Laura McKenna; an aunt Winnifred York (Winnie) and cousins, Peggie York and Bruce York. Graveside services to celebrate Dean's life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11A.M. at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Route 88, Foreside Road, Falmouth.
