Westbrook- Capt. Dean M. Cressey passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 30, 2017. He was born on July 17, 1952 in Portland, Maine the son of Clarence and Janet (Merritt) Cressey. Dean spent 30 years working for the Portland Fire Department retiring as a Capt. from the Munjoy Hill Station. Apart from the fire department Dean enjoyed being around his family and spending time with them as often as he could. He is survived by his daughter Kendalee Farris of Falmouth and her two daughters, Ella and Addison Farris of Falmouth, also his son Derek Cressey and his wife Erica Christiansen Cressey and their two sons Brecken and Kellan Cressey all of Windham, also by his dear friend Leslie "Lucy" Long. Visiting hours will be on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 1-4pm at A. T. Hutchins Funeral Home 660 Brighton Ave. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 1:00pm at Bruno's 33 Allen Avenue Portland.
