East Baldwin- David W. Johnson, 67, died at his home in East Baldwin on August 25, 2017, after a brief illness. He was born on January 28, 1950, in Portland, the son of Vincent W. and Helen Virginia (Clark) Johnson. David graduated from Gorham High School in 1969 and Fryeburg Academy in 1970. He also attended Bliss College. He was employed by Port Resources for several years and then worked a number of odd jobs until his retirement. David enjoyed travel, particularly to Alaska and Florida. He was predeceased by an infant twin brother, Donald, and his mother Helen. Survivors are: a son Adam W. Johnson of East Baldwin; his father Vincent W. Johnson of Portland; a brother Stephen A. Johnson and his wife Margaret of South Portland; two nieces, Miriam Johnson of Bath and Rachel Love of Cary North Carolina; and Linda Walker of Standish, Adam's mother. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00am at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland.
