Craig Joseph Ahlemeyer passed away suddenly on June 13th. He was 48. He was born in Portland, ME, the son of Eva "Dame" Ahlemeyer and the late Frank A. Ahlemeyer of Standish. Craig graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 1997.
He worked at Pitstop in high school and then for a building Co. He started working for Bell Plumbing at MMC and passed his Master Plumbing license. He then went to Warren Mechanical in Westbrook where he's been for the last 27 years.
Craig is survived by his mother and best friend Eva Ahlemeyer Tompson and his two children, Austin J Ahlemeyer of Hollis and Gage M. Ahlemeyer of Standish. They were his whole world and the loves of his life. Craig was predeceased by his sister Nicole Ahlemeyer and her husband Damon Schlehuber also his stepfather Richard Tompson of standish. His maternal grandmother Louise Dame of Westbrook.
He loved hunting and fishing with his boys. He enjoyed riding his Harley and working on his 1986 Chevy truck that he rebuilt from top to bottom. He enjoyed everything he could do with Austin and Gage. He had a great sense of humor and kept family get togethers fun.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 Pm Saturday June 27, 2026 at the Standish Congregational Church, 25 Oak Hill Road in Standish. A reception will follow.
