Clyde Lee Taylor of Westbrook, lovingly known as "Pucka" as named by his grandson, passed away at the age of 93 surrounded by his family on February 6. He was born at home in Fairfield Center, Maine on September 25, 1930, son of Gardner G. and Nora O'Neil Taylor. He served honorably in the Navy Air Squadron during the Korean Conflict until 1955. He married Jeannette Reny on April 14, 1956 in Waterville, Maine and together they raised three children in South Portland. Clyde was a 38 year employee of Texaco and a proud member of the Thornton Heights United Methodist Church serving as an usher and trustee. Clyde is survived by his wife of Westbrook, children Sharon Taylor and Scott Burner of Windham, Sandra and Scott Cushman of Scarborough and Bryan Lee and Ann-Marie Taylor of North Yarmouth. Three grandchildren Jeffrey McCartan of South Portland, Katy and her husband Brandon Cressey of York, Emily and her husband Alex Grover of North Yarmouth. He is also survived by two great grandchildren Camille and Bennett Lee along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his four legged and one three legged furry grandchildren Dudley, Izzy and Charlie along with one great Lucy. Services will be Saturday February 17, 1 pm at Thornton Heights United Methodist Church, 100 Westbrook Street, South Portland, Maine. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church or Honor Flight Maine, PO Box 699, Brunswick, ME 04011-0699. Private burial will be held at a later date. Clyde's family would like to thank everyone at Stroudwater Lodge for their care and friendship to Clyde for the past two years.
