Claire R. Zacchini May 31, 1924 August 19, 2015 Portland - Claire R. Zacchini, 91, of Portland, passed away on August 19, 2015. She was born on May 31, 1924, in Boston, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Manning) Finck. In 1942 she married Henry F. Zacchini, they were married for 23 years until his untimely death in 1965. She worked in the Cumberland County Probate for 25 years, loved the Red Sox, dancing, and playing bingo. Those who knew her considered her to be kind, loving, and spiritual. She is survived by her children: Claire Hammond, Henry L. Zacchini, and Paul R. Zacchini; Grandchildren: Jennifer Gobeille, Jason Hammond, Henry F. Zacchini,II, Larissa Matzek, Anthony Johnson, and Elizabeth Johnson; and 9 Great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Henry; a daughter Sandra Johnson; and a grandson Richard Craig Hammond.
