Charlotte Kaster passed away peacefully in Portland Maine on Monday August 15, 2022, at the age of 91. She was born on March 6, 1931, in Vevey Switzerland, her family settled in New Canaan, Connecticut after World War II. She had a lifelong interest in horticulture and the outdoors; she passed many happy hours working in her gardens. But her greatest love was hiking, camping and other outdoor pursuits with her extended family. Charlotte was a beloved grandmother, mother, mother-in-law, aunt, sister, and friend; her dedication to caring for others during her long life touched the lives of many people. We will all miss her dearly. Charlotte is survived by her children Tim and Andrea, grandchildren Adrian and Gabriel, and siblings Peter and Frances.
