Carole Marie Limpert Bogner January 28, 1926 October 20, 2016 CAROLE MARIE LIMPERT BOGNER died peacefully at her home in Portland on October 20, 2016. She was born in January, 1926, the first of six children, to Marie Suter Limpert and John William Limpert in Baltimore, Maryland. Carole graduated from Temple University and went on to work for Chubb Underwriting in Summit, N.J. On February 17, 1951 she became the wife of Jack Luther Bogner from Avalon Pennsylvania. Subsequent moves found them short-term in Barre, Vermont, prior to a more permanent home in Portland where the Bogners established long-reaching roots. Her husband Jack, passed away in Portland on February 1990. Bereaved children are John W. Bogner, Lauren Bogner Nelson, Christine Bogner and Andrew Bogner, all of Portland. Her grandchildren are Stacy Hart, Keith Nelson, Taylor and Jaclyn Bogner. Mrs. Bogner is survived by a brother, John Limpert, Jr. of Falls Village, Connecticut, and predeceased by another brother, Stephen R Limpert and three sisters, Joan Smith, Mary Kirby and Kathryn Brewington. While Carole Bogner worked as a teacher's assistant, she found the greatest joy in her family, both immediate and extended, and devoted her life to their happiness and well-being. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 1 to 3 pm on Friday October 28th at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave. Portland. A memorial service will follow at 3 pm at the funeral home.
