Carole Cavallaro passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at The Gosnell House on February 14, 2022. Carole grew up in Portland, she was an integral part of a large, loving family who included her in everything. She loved spending time with family and friends, vacationing in Florida, boating on Casco Bay and singing Karaoke at the Italian Heritage Center, as well as being on their Bocci team. She had a loving spirit, an infectious laugh and teasing nature, just ask her nurses! After the passing of her father, Carole was lovingly cared for by her brothers, Tony and John. Carole lived happily with Tony and his wife, Louise until her care requirements increased. Carole then became involved with Affinity Program, where she met many new friends, and best friend Patty. She enjoyed outings, singing and dance, and discovered a hidden talent of painting and crafts. She was very proud of her artwork and seeing them displayed during their yearly benefit auction. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Dorothy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katie and Arthur Winship, and Jeannie and Jim Ashey; brothers, Mike and Charlie. She is survived by her brothers, Tony and John; and sister-in-law, Sherry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
