Carol (DiBiase) Brackett July 7, 2014 Carol Brackett passed away on July 7, 2014, in the comfort of her home amongst family and friends. Carol's passion for life can be best exemplified by her endearing affection towards those closest to her. Carol's aim was to please because she delighted in seeing others in the comfort of happiness. Carol will always be known for her energy, commitment, and desire to live life to the fullest, but nothing brought her more elation than spending time with her precious granddaughter, Amelia Rose. Carol was devoted to her children, grandchild, and husband. She was the life of the party, a phenomenal cook, and incredible shopper who could always be counted on for finding the greatest bargains anywhere. Carol enjoyed dining with her beloved friends that she remained in contact with since her youth. Carol is predeceased by her parents Silas Paul DiBiase and Amelia DiBiase. She leaves behind; her husband Theodore Brackett, her children Amy Carestia and Birge Peterson, her granddaughter Amelia Carestia, her niece Abigail O'Brion, her great niece Quinn O'Brion, and her brothers Stephen DiBiase and John DiBiase Family and Friends are invited to visiting hours from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday July, 10 2014 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home 660 Brighton Ave. Portland, ME. Interment at Calvary Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Dr. Joyce Liu, Research Fund at Dana Farber" and can be mailed to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., YC1420, Boston, MA, 02215.
