Carl L.Wilder March 26, 1941 October 9, 2012 New Gloucester- Carl L. Wilder, 71, passed away unexpectedly on October 9, 2012 in Richmond, VA, while visiting family. He was born in Hartland, ME, a son of Maurice and Beverly (Brewer) Wilder. Carl was a longtime employee at St. Johnsbury Trucking where he drove truck for more than 25 years before the company dissolved. He was an owner/operator of his own truck for over ten years. He later worked for Watkins Trucking, Fed Ex National and was currently working at Portland Air Freight. He was a past-member of the Masonic lodge in Portsmouth,NH. He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Gerrish Roger and Irvin. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Susan M. (Perry) Wilder; sisters, Rebecca Johnson of Pittsfield, ME, Lucy Goodnite of Corbin, KY, Lisa Roberts of Augusta; brother, Aaron Wilder of Sangerville, ME; step-son, Kevin Coburn of Portland. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews and was especially fond of Gracie and Colby Haskell. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at the new Calvary Cemetery, 1461 Broadway in South Portland.
