Carl Adams June 10, 1939 November 3, 2012 PORTLAND - Carl Adams, 73, of Portland, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Seaside Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Cornish, ME on June 10, 1939, he was the son of Helen Carlotta Adams and lived in Portland for most of his life. Working as a skilled laborer for most of his career, Carl worked throughout the greater Portland area for several well know businesses including Lucas Tree Company, until his retirement due to illness. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, all whom will never forget his memory and are glad he is finally at rest. He is survived by his two sons, David and his wife Kathy of Texas and Craig and his wife Beth of Casco, one daughter Rachel of Portland, a brother George of Buxton, two sisters, Mary of Mesa, Arizona and Betsy of Kempton, PA, two cousins, Judy Sargent of Hiram and Linda Glaszer of Porter, ME, to whom he was very close, six grandchildren, Dylan and Angie, Dominic and Dante, Zachery and Stefi and one great-grand daughter, Evana. Friends and family are invited to attend a period of visitation from 9 to 11 AM on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the A.T. Hutchins LLC Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland. A memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 11 AM.
