Camilla "Dolly" Dearborn July 24, 1925 May 2, 2014 Camilla "Dolly" Dearborn, age 88, passed away peacefully on the 2nd of May, 2014. Dolly was born on July 24, 1925, and raised in Portland, Maine to Corrado and Vincenza Corradini. She was a cherished part of her community and was loved by many. Dolly was the heart of her family and lit up a room with her beautiful smile and contagiously feisty spark for life. She touched many lives through her gentle, care-giving nature and natural ability to lift the spirits of anyone who crossed her path. She adored her family and friends, and will be lovingly remembered as a source of great strength and encouragement. Dolly's beautiful voice, singing harmonies with her sisters Rita, Anna, and Mary at special events and gatherings will be fondly remembered by many. Her love for music and dancing were one of the many joys in her life. She is survived by sister, Rita Corradini of Scarborough, ME; daughters, Linda Whittemore and her husband, Terrance of Yarmouth, MA; Victoria Jarry and her husband, Robert of Westbrook, ME; granddaughters, Michelle Coughlan and her husband, Brian of Harwich, MA; Nicole Chryssicas and her husband, John of Boston, MA; Amie LeClerc and her husband, Marc of Westbrook, ME; Kaitlin Jarry of Portland, ME; great-grandchildren, Connor, Colby, Joshua, Logan, Lance, Quinton and Oscar; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to express our sincerest gratitude for Dr. Marjorie Boyd's thoughtful and compassionate care throughout her treatment. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at A.T. Hutchins, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland from 5-7 p.m., followed by a service at 7 p.m. A special celebration in honor of Dolly and her daughter, Dolores Dearborn will be announced in early June. In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions in Camilla "Dolly" Dearborn's name can be made to the Barron Center, 1145 Brighton Ave, Portland -- for their exceptional care and heartfelt compassion provided in Dolly's final days.
