Bruce W. Keating, Sr. July 20, 1940 May 13, 2015 Portland - Bruce W. Keating, Sr., 74, of Portland passed away at Mercy Hospital on May 13, 2015. He was born on July 20, 1940 in Portland, the son of Miles and Dorothy (Norton) Keating. He grew up in Portland, attending Portland Public Schools. Bruce enjoyed cars and worked for many years as an auto mechanic for Morong in Falmouth. Bruce loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and spending time at Tapanewkeg in Bethel. He also treasured spending time with his family and his beloved dogs. Bruce was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Jean (Menario) Keating, his children: Bruce Jr., Chris, Janice, and Brittney as well as his grandchildren; Zachary, Brandon, Dustin, and Benjamin. He is also survived by his twin sister, Barbara Johnson. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 1 - 3:30pm, followed by a celebration of his life at 3:30pm on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at A.T.
