Benedigno Padilla, 80, of Pace, FL, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022 in Augusta, ME.  Coach Bennie, as he was known by many, is survived by his brothers Will Padilla, Ernie Quiles, and his sisters Maria Padilla, Rosa Molina, Maria Seeley, Irma Annis, Millie Espinoza, Maria Estrella McIntosh, Anna Lydia Villa as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Ben proudly served in the US Army, 54th Engineering Battalion.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the exceptional staff at Togus VA Hospital and Fisher House of Augusta, ME.
