After her retirement and the death of her first husband, Barbara at the urging of friends moved from Derry, New Hampshire to Falmouth Maine.~ A windjammer cruise changed the direction of her life when she discovered a bond with Matinicus Island, home of her fathers' ancestors. Parkhurst from Makawao, Maui, Wayne Marshall from Freedom, New Hampshire, ~Barry Marshall from Pacific Groves, California, Sally Marshall from St. Petersburg, Florida, Ann (Everett) and John Mitchell of Matinicus Island, and Susan (Everett) and Scott Swan of Glenrock, Wyoming.
