Audbrey Arnold Bowles July 6, 1920 October 21, 2015 Portland Audbrey Arnold Bowles, 95, of Portland died on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at his residence surrounded by friends, caregivers, and his loving cat.. He was born in Portland on July 6, 1920 the son of the late Nicholas and Delphina (Cornish) Bowles. Audbrey was a graduate of Portland High School. After graduation, he enlisted into the U.S. Merchant Marines and was honorably discharged in August of 1945. He was predeceased by his lovely wife Alma. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, 74 Deering Road, Gorham. Relatives and friends are invited to come to share their respect and memories of Mr. Bowles. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Animal Refuge League, PO BOX 336, Westbrook, ME 04098.
