Westbrook:  Arthur L. Edwards, 83, went to be with the Lord January 12.  Born and raised in Portland the son of Lawrence and Mildred (Sampson) Edwards.  He attended Portland schools and graduated from Portland High School. Arthur is predeceased by his wife Rita and his son Larry. He is survived by a son Jeff Edwards, two daughters, Cindy Bailey and Linda Edwards.  Also Rita's children Gordy and Missy. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Retiring from Maine Central Railroad he went on to work for Unum.  During retirement he pursed his love for golf, while working and playing at Riverside Golf Course.  Another passion for driving he worked for Enterprise Car Rental.
