Antonio "Tony" DiBiase September 28, 1932 June 1, 2014 Portland - Antonio DiBiase, 81, formerly of Portland, passed away on June 1, 2014 at Coastal Manor in Yarmouth. He was born on September 28, 1932 in Portland, a son of Ambrose, Sr. and Anna (DelPonte) DiBiase. Tony grew up in Portland, graduating from Portland High School in 1950. Shortly after high school, Tony enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country for four years. He later worked many years for the U.S. Postal Service. Tony enjoyed golf and was a big Patriots and Red Sox fan throughout his life. He also coached youth baseball in Portland for many years. Tony was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Samuel DiBiase. He is survived by his brothers; Nick DiBiase, John DiBiase and his wife Dorothy, and Ambrose DiBiase, Jr. and his wife Cynthia as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Coastal Manor for their care of Tony during his time there. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 10 am - 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 pm at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
