Anne J. (Falcone) Warren December 10, 1930 February 15, 2016 Anne J. (Falcone) Warren, 85 Portland - Anne J. Warren, 85, died unexpectedly February 15, 2016, at her home in Portland. She was born on December 10, 1930, in Portland, one of nine children of Angelo Falcone and Pasqualina (DeRisi) Falcone. She grew up in East Deering and lived her entire life in the City, graduating from Portland High School in the Class of 1948. Anne married David S. Warren in 1952, and they lived for most of their years together in the Libbytown neighborhood, where they raised their children David and Sharon. A communicant at St. Peter's Church in her younger years, Anne became a parishioner at St. Patrick's Church after moving to Libbytown. She was also a longtime and active member of the Italian Heritage Center, enjoying bocce tournaments and other activities at the club. After her husband's passing in 2001, Anne remained deeply engaged in the lives of her six grandchildren, whom she adored, and was blessed to be able to live independently to the very end of her life. ~Anne was predeceased by her husband David and by her brothers Louis, James, and Bernard Falcone, and sisters Mary Wilson, Louise Poitras, Mafalda (Sally) Jolly, and Rose McCullum. She is survived by her brother Joseph Falcone; by her daughter Sharon Crawford and her husband Scott of South Portland; by her son David Warren of Portland; and by her grandchildren Michael A. (Tony) Giordano, Jr. of Arundel, Andrew Giordano of Portland, and Angela Giordano of Allston, Massachusetts; and Eliza Giberson (and her husband James), Joseph Warren, and Emma Warren, all of Portland. Visiting hours will be held 4-7 PM on Friday, February 19, at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland.~ A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Portland, on Saturday at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland. In lieu of flowers donations in Anne's memory may be made to the Good Shepherd Food Bank, PO Box 1807, Auburn, Maine 04211-1807. ~ ~
