Obituary

Anita Trahan - White January 11, 1939 June 4, 2012 Addison and Acton - It is with heavy heart and great sadness that the family of Anita Trahan-White announces the passing of our mother on June 4, 2012. Our mom was born January 11, 1939 in Jonesport, ME to Roland ""Tommy"" Beal and Charlene (Faulkingham) Beal. When Mom was in her teens, her parents moved to Killingly, CT., with her and her siblings. It was in Killingly, that Mom, met a handsome Navy man named Richard ""Choo"" Armand Trahan and they wed on August 8, 1958. Together, they purchased their first home on Bailey Hill Road in Killingly, and raised 4 children. Mom always wanted to return to her beloved Jonesport. So, when the children were grown, and Daddy retired, they purchased a ""little fixer upper"" on the East Side Road, in Addison and sold their home in CT, where Mom and Daddy spent their days turning their house into a home. Sadly, Daddy passed away suddenly on December 28, 1992, just one year after they had moved to Addison, and Mom was left on her own. A few years later, Mom caught the eye of a gentleman, who courted her for several years. In 2009, Mom and Roland were married, and they spent 4 wonderful years together. Anita is survived by her second husband, Roland White, her mother, Charlene Beal Wagner, her son, Richard Trahan, of Florida, her daughters, Trenda Trahan-Kinney and spouse Peter, and Faylene Trahan-Tiffany and spouse Philip, a brother, Roland ""Bo"" Beal and spouse, Penny. Mom also leaves behind a very special Step niece and Step nephew, Zina and Roger Lucas, who helped Mom and Roland greatly in times of need. Mom was predeceased, by her first husband, Richard Trahan, her father, Roland Beal, her brother, Hurley Beal, her older sister Loretta and her youngest son, Dale Robert Trahan. Mom's wishes were to be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery in Jonesport, ME., with her youngest boy, Dale Robert, and her Dad, and first husband Richard.
