Anita M. (Breault) Merrill December 12, 1943 June 16, 2014 Anita M. (Breault) Merrill of Portland died unexpectedly on June 16, 2014 at New England Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Rumford, ME on December 12, 1943 to the late Ernest and Rita (Tebbetts) Breault of Mexico, ME. She was a graduate of Saint Theresa's Grammar School as well as Mexico High School in 1961. Anita worked for over 25 years at Fairchild Semi-Conductor in South Portland, ME as a quality control inspector. Anita enjoyed playing Scrabble, puzzle making, and potluck dinners with her friends at her apartment complex. She cherished her time spent with family and her beloved cat Lilly. In addition to her parents, Anita is predeceased by her husband Erwin Merrill Sr. and her brother Dexter Breault. She is survived by: her five children; Erwin Merrill Jr. and his wife Carol of Westbrook, Gary Merrill Sr. and wife Pauline of Westbrook, Glenn Merrill of Portland, Jeff Merrill of Windham, Tina Leonard and her husband Shawn of Northampton, PA; 9 grandchildren; her sister Jean Comptois of Rumford; her brother Tom Breault of Brunswick; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Noon on Saturday June 28, 2014 at Demerritt Cemetery, West Peru, ME.
