Albion E. Morton 1940 April 21, 2012 Albion E. Morton, age 71, of Windham, passed away April 21, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. He was born to George E. and Dorothy (Ricker) Morton. He was educated in Portland and worked as a trucker for the former Yankee Distributors. He later worked as a bus driver for the Portland Transit District until his retirement. He married his childhood sweetheart at a young age and worked very hard to support his family which was always his first priority. While a young man, he enjoyed candlepin bowling, appearing many times on the Saturday bowling show from Big 20 Lanes. He also loved the Red Sox and Nascar, but his first love was spending time with his children. He is predeceased by his parents; brothers Erndale, Lance, and Thomas; his sisters, Dorothy, Adelaide, and Geneva; and granddaughter, Nicole Morton. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; daughters, Deborah Morton of Westbrook, Vicki Batchelder and her husband David of Steep Falls, Diane Cable and her husband Bob of New Gloucester, and Liza Pendleton and her husband Victor of Gray; sons, Steven Morton and his wife Elizabeth of Charlton, Massachusetts, Ralph Morton and his wife Carrie of Florida; eleven grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. At Al's request, there will be a private family graveside service at Walnut Hill Cemetery, North Yarmouth. Arrangements are by A.T.
