Kerri Ann Anderson March 14, 1985 November 21, 2015 KERRI ANN ANDERSON Gorham - Kerri Ann Anderson, 30, passed peacefully on November 21, 2015, surrounded by her family in her childhood home. Kerri was born on March 14, 1985 to her loving mother, Kristi Withers Tarbox and father Philip Alan Hazel. Battling congenital heart disease, she was a fighter from the very beginning. That mentality stayed with her throughout the years, as she endured a heart transplant with strength and grace at the age of 21. Kerri graduated from Gorham High School in 2003. She had many teachers and friends that meant very much to her. Her high school sweetheart turned into her loving husband, John Robert Anderson III, sharing 13 beautiful years. She always excelled in her studies and was an exceptional friend.~ She went on to receive her medical assistant certification and became a medical transcriptionist. Kerri was a caring and loving wife, daughter, sister and friend. Survived by her beloved husband John, her mother, Kristi and step father Eric Tarbox, her father Phil, brother Evan P. Hazel and sister Elizabeth C. Hazel. Also survived by her mother in law, Julie Gagnon and husband Steve.~ Father in law John Robert Anderson II and his wife Jamie. A multitude of siblings gained by marriage, MacKenzie Hazel, Christopher Mouradian, Mike Gagnon, Stephanie Gagnon, David Gagnon, Ben Blais, and Jack Anderson. Visiting hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday, November 27. A celebration of life will be held the following day, Saturday, November, 28, starting at 10 a.m. Both will be held at A.T. Hutchins Funeral home, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland. Those who wish may make donations in Kerri's name to VNA Home Health and Hospice, 50 Foden Road South Portland, ME 04106 and to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland 449 Stroudwater St. Westbrook, ME 04092, as Kerri's animals were an integral part of her life and happiness. A very special thank you to those who cared for Kerri at Maine Medical Center in Portland as well as the Children's and Brigham and Women's Hospitals in Boston Massachusetts.
