Yvonne Carol Risbara

Yvonne Carol Risbara, 71, of Freeport, passed away March 1, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.  She was born September 21, 1946 in Providence, RI to George Gilbert and Christine Anne (Watson) Gayton.

Yvonne grew up attending local Portland schools.  She worked at Healthtex for 20 years, B & M Beans, and retired from Nichols Portland after working there for 21 years.

Yvonne was a private person who was very caring, giving, and compassionate.  She enjoyed boating and travelling with her husband, gardening, and recently playing games on her laptop.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Gayton.   She is survived by:  her husband, Peter Baker of Freeport; daughter, Crystal Butts and her husband, Charlie of Portland; sisters, Beverly Goodine of Freeport and Joleene and her husband, Joe of New Bedford, MA; brother, Dennis Gayton and his wife, Charlotte of Windham; numerous nieces and nephews; and dog, Sam.

At Yvonne’s request, no services will be held.
