Scarborough-Willie Henry Fair, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. He was born on February 28, 1945 in Augusta Georgia, the son of Eulice and Ester (Carter) Fair.
Willie lived most of his adult life in Massachusetts in the City of Brockton. He met the love of his life Roe Ann King in 1998 and they married on June 3, 2001 in South Portland where they lived for the next ten years after that they moved to Scarborough.
Willie was a man of many skills and worked various jobs over the years including the Portland Jetport, Paradigm Windows, The city of South Portland, and most recently Sam’s Club in Scarborough.
Willie had many hobbies that he loved Painting being one of them. He also loved Wood Working and Sewing. He and his wife Roe Ann were huge fans of blues music, often attending The North Atlantic Blues Festival in Rockland, Maine over the years.
Willie leaves behind a huge loving family including his wife of 18 years Roe Ann Fair of Scarborough, a daughter and son who reside in Massachuesetts, a step-daughter Zelda L. Harrison of South Portland another step-daughter of Cape Elizabeth. Five step grandchildren, Hallowmae White, Monique A. Stinson, Nicole Harrison, and Armani and Auni Young and a few great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a brother Eulice Fair Jr., a sister Louise T. Brice, a cousin Mary Allen and another cousin Ernest Williams and many relatives in his home State of Gerogia and a best friend William (Bill) of Massachusetts.
Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home 660 Brighton Avenue in Portland. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at a later date in the Central Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
