Even though we didn’t spend as much time together as we both would have liked, I’m very happy for the times we did spend together. Especially in recent times, like the trip to California when we went to the beach together, and when we went around the Zoo. Or the times I went to Maine and we would talk at the lake. I’ll also always cherish the coin collection you gave me when I was younger. I love and miss you lots great grandpa Tom.

I met you first on a long drive to the airport. It was a pleasure getting to know you and your family. Always a warm smile and nice conversation. Such a supportive and loving Great Grandfather to Bastian. You will be missed. Though we didn't get to spend holidays and Birthdays we always looked forward to visits to Delaware on your travels South & North with Grandma Mary. What a great Father Daughter relationship that was. I know only too well the hole in Mary's heart. Your passing only makes last years trip out West to California so much more special for everyone, wish I had gone too. Thank you for your time, your warm laugh, and fond stories. Thank you for caring..
Love always

You are greatly missed! I leaned so much about how to be a good man from you.  You made time for family and were always there for us.  You always made us feel loved.  I will always hold in my heart all the times we shared from hunting to just sitting around your kitchen table talking and listening to the police scanner.  I'm so glad you were able to come out to California last year and that we were all able to go up to the giant sequoia and go out on the aircraft carrier but most of all sit around my kitchen table and listen to stories of your life.  I loved hearing about you riding horses with your grandfather after playing cards and how the sky was so clear and full of stars at night.  I will tell your great grandson Grayson all about you and when he's old enough we will brew up some of your molasses beer and drink a glass in your honor! I love you so much grandpa.
