Jacksonville, FL – It is with great sadness that the family of Sean Jason Webster, 46, formerly of Gray, Maine died unexpectedly November 10, 2018, in Jacksonville, FL. He was born October 24, 1972, in Portland. He was the loving son of Linda Huntington of Somerville and James Webster of Westbrook.
Sean graduated from Deering High School, Class of 1991. He was a three-season athlete who loved being part of a team. After graduation, he became a proud member of the U.S. Army. He loved the outdoors, particularly hunting. He was a huge fan of sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Sean was very passionate about his family and was a down-to-earth dad and all around guy. He would lend a hand to anyone that needed it without asking for anything in return.
Sean will be forever remembered by his children Zachariah Huggard and his partner Nathan Merrill of Gorham; Abigail (Webster) LaCourse and son-in-law Michael LaCourse of Dover, New Hampshire; Nathan Webster of Westbrook; and Kaleigh Webster of Dresden, as well as his granddaughter, Emma and soon to be granddaughter, Leah. In addition, he will be lovingly remembered by his siblings James Webster of Poland; Paula (Webster) Taylor of Mechanic Falls; Jessie Forrest and brother-in-law Craig Forrest; and Timothy Huntington and sister-in-law Pamela Huntington. He was greatly loved by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held 4-7 pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland. Burial will take place in the spring at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Augusta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
