Robert Stetson Obituary

Westbrook-Robert Alan Stetson, 60, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Portland.

He was born on November 13, 1957, in Augusta, Maine. Robert worked for many years as a painter; he was very gentle and caring and loved being with his family, he also loved dogs. His favorite saying was “her cool beans ya ha 2” Robert will be missed by many family members and friends.

Robert is predeceased by his mother Joan Strickland.

He is survived by his loving wife Carol Stetson (Carey) of Westbrook, his brother Frank Stetson of Biddeford, two sons Robert LaChance and Dustin Woodside of Augusta and one grandson. He is also survived by two stepsons Oliver Bedard III of Portland, and Michael Bedard of Westbrook.and by his longtime friend of 20 years Kenneth Capps, also by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 4 pm at 2 Walker St. Building 3 in Westbrook.
