My family lived across the street from Bob's office. My dad, Mr Rheault, did all the handyman work Bob needed done, whether it was at the office or his beloved cottage at Fortunes Rocks. Sometimes we were lucky enough to go along and play in the beach sand when my dad would take the storm windows off the cottage. Bob always treated us like we were part of his family. Whenever I went into the office after my folks passed, he would always start off the conversation by asking if I had been over to see my folks. He would then tell me he had stopped in to see them and they hadn't changed a bit and then he'd kiss my forehead. He would always make me laugh. I really hated to see him retire since he was the only dentist I had ever been to. My condolences to all of his children and grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
