Raymond E. Spencer

Ray was always friendly whenever I went to Portland to visit Louise.  He also liked his computer for a while so we would send jokes and e-mails back and forth.  He and Louise had a great marriage and he was very lucky to have her help him for so many years after he became ill.  RIP Ray

Oh how I wish I had seen one of Rays Magic shows I am sure they were wildly entertaining as he was always such a charismatic figure whenever I saw him at family events. I will always remember him with his 'gold bling' with Janice Louise - together the life of any party. Coincidentally we share our wedding anniversary the same day (Nov 9)...albeit 40 years after theirs, such longevity in marriage so rare - a testament to their commitment to each other. He will be missed and memories of him treasured. I have posted a photo of Ray & Janice Louise at my parents (Kevin & Judy Simpson) 50th wedding anniversary - a steamy night August 22, 2009.  As I remember him - always together with Janice Louise & having a great time. 

My uncle the magician. I can remember telling my friends as a child that "my uncle is a magician and my aunt is his assistant. " It was like saying Fred and Ginger came for Christmas in my book. He was the coolest and together they were MAGIC! They were beautiful. RIP Uncle Ray.
