Raymond Labbe Obituary

Raymond A. Labbe Sr. passed away January 5, 2018. He was born July 25, 1931 in Portland to Joseph Dona and Viola Mildred (Berry) Labbe Sr.

Raymond attended local schools and worked for the City of Portland’s Public Works Department and drove a forklift for various local businesses. He was kind and loved his family very much, especially his children. He enjoyed talking on CB radios and hunting deer, roller skating, and music. He also volunteered for the We Who Care group at Woodford’s Church.

Raymond was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Joseph D. Labbe Jr. and Colby Leroy Berry.

He is survived by: his son, Raymond A. Labbe Jr. of Fulton, Missouri; daughter, Amy-Jo Labbe of Clearwater, FL; his brother, Cecil Labbe and his wife Patricia of Hastings, FL; sister-in-law, Joan Labbe of Westbrook; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donations may be made in Raymond’s name to the Barron Center, 1145 Brighton Ave., Portland, ME 04102.

A memorial service will be on July 25, 2018 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home with interment at Brooklawn Memorial Park.
