Peter D. Stead

Dear Kathy and family,
My love and condolences to your family, and Peter's brother Ron and his wife Gerri, at this time of grief.  So shockingly, Peter is "gone too soon."  He will be long remembered for his generous caring spirit, his quick wit, and easy smile.  I'll treasure the memories of good times with Millbury classmates as well as our Maine visits.  May your sadness be softened by rich memories, and the love of your family and many friends.

Kathie, Emily and Carolyn, my deepest sympathies as you navigate this sad time. Peter was a wonderful person with a warm smile and a way of making whoever he talked with feel important. We shared Massachusetts roots in our close-by towns of Worcester and Southbridge, and we made each other laugh trying to imitate the regional accent. May the love you shared and your special memories of times together will be a source of strength and warmth even as you grieve his loss.
          

So very, very sad to learn of Peter’s passing too soon. Throughout our years in the OLLI Recorder Group, Peter was unfailingly reliable, calm, welcoming, encouraging, knowledgeable, kind. The world is a bit darker without him, and I am richer for having played music beside him.

         I, too, will miss playing with Peter in the OLLI recorder group...plus having some wonderful conversations after the rehearsals.   

Kathryn and Girls, we worked many Red Cross national responses with Peter and enjoyed him very much.  Cricket called us and told us about Peter's passing. We send our prayers to you and the family.
