Mike, what can I say?
You are so loved by us and you will be so missed by us. What I wouldn't do to have had more time to know you. In just the short time I knew you, I found myself constantly wishing you had been my Grandfather. That's how truly wonderful time spent around you was.
You will never be forgotten by us. Wish I'd had more opportunities to tell you that. Telling you that now.
We love you Mike, thank you for blessing the earth with your presence. It was a complete privilege to know you. We will always tell our children about sweet Uncle Mike, that fed the animals down by the water.

Thank you Ariana and Butch for your sweet message about my dear Mike. He was a lot of fun and truly enjoyed his visits to New Orleans where he had a chance to spend time with your family. He found your little girls to be very charming as he watched them dance in and out of the sprinkler here in our yard. Thanks for the memories.

I have been blessed with a unique relationship with my big brother. We never had a cross word between us , wow how special. I thank you for being such a great understanding mentor. Great memories .... we have so many, hunting with our beagles, snowmobiling and fishing at our paradise in Greenville. Super times on the pontoon on Sebago. My most memorable is when you joined me playing football together for the Portsmouth Buccaneers in New England Football league. A dream come true to play side by side ....Thank you Iron Mike I love you.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the DeSimon family for the recent loss of your loved one! You may not know or remember that Mike was my godfather. He was dating my aunt, Florence Rourke, back in 1956 when I was baptized and my mother asked the two of them to be my godparents. I saw him occasionally as a youngster and really enjoyed watching him play football and would brag to my friends that my godfather played for the Seahawks! Although it cannot match your grief, I also feel that a part of my life was lost with Mike’s passing. You’re in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
