Westbrook-Judy Lee Baker, 64, passed away peacefully at a young age at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on Friday, November 9, 2018.
She was born in Portland on January 18, 1954, the daughter of Leo S. and Miriam N. (Adams) Clark. She was raised first in Portland before moving to Worcester, Massachusetts, where she spent her remaining childhood.
Judy met her true love Harry L. Baker and they settled in Sparks, Nevada, running the Tarry Motel. She returned to Maine in 2017, where she and her sister shared an apartment which she so loved the backyard, and would sit for hours watching the wild Animals and would tell people she had her own private zoo.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, her husband Harry, her brothers Larry, Dennis Clark and Richard Cabral.
She leaves behind her two son’s Jeffrey and Harry Baker also her two grandson’s Tyler and Ashton Baker. Three stepdaughters, Tonya and her husband Alan Matya with their three children, John, Ann, and Hailey. Tracy Haak and her three children, Joseph, Elizabeth, and Hannah also Tricia and her husband Victor Sirois with their two children Rachel and Samuel. She also leaves behind her sister’s Sharon and her husband Edward Bigelow, Linda LeClair, Ann Boutiette, and Mildred Sue Sawyer, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per Judy’s request, no services will be held.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt Thank you to the Staff at Maine Medical Center’s Critical Care Unit and also the staff at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House for all of their loving care that they provided to Judy.
