Our deepest condolences to the Depalma ´s family for the loss of the great man that my husband and I got to know for the past twenty-two years, to love and respect for his wisdom, kind words, jokes, advices and for the love of his family and marriage. Thanks for sharing your dad with us. John will be missed greatly.

John was a neighbor and co-worker of mine for many years at the City of Portland. He was a good friend and a wonderful man.. His contributions to the city were significant, however his family and church were most important to him. Our condolences to his family.

Abdiel and I just wanted to send you our condolences. Losing someone who knits the fabric of your family together is hard. It leaves a void that is seemingly never filled and reminds us that life on this earth is very short and temporary. We are praying for God to be with you during this difficult transition, that you find peace in your memories and that you continue to discover endearing things about your 'Friend' 'Dad' 'Grandpa' 'Great Grandpa' (everything John was) through the permanent mark he left in this world.

I worked with John for a number of years in treasury; had fun golfing with him and having coffee with John and the boys at the Mall. So sorry for your loss.
