A shock for me to read that cancer has taken yet another beautiful person from our lives. Jan and I shared a love for the beach and I will always remember her beautiful smile and warm personality.

We have such treasured memories of our friendship with Jan. She was someone you could always count on to help you no matter what the situation. We were neighbors for many years and enjoyed countless evenings on either our deck or her and Frankie's, talking, laughing, having munchies and a cocktail, playing cards or dice or sharing good books.. She knew how to throw a great party - they would start at 7 PM and end at 7 AM with breakfast! She brought so much joy into our lives (even when she locked herself out of her house in her bathrobe in a snowstorm and was ringing our doorbell at 5:30 AM for help!!!!) and we will never forget you, dear Jan.

I worked with Jan at Hanover for over 28 years. She was a great lady and she helped me out plenty of times with her excellent computer skills. Great personality, shared some good laughs together. She will be missed by all who knew her.
