Just learned of Jeff's passing while researching for Duke Class of '70, 50th Reunion, in Durham April 17-19, 2020. What a loss. Jeff was the best man for my first wedding, to Natalie Porter, in the Duke Gardens, shortly after graduation. He was a caring and gentle person, well deserved his reputation for knowledge of obscure trivia,. I regret having missed the final 47 years of his wonderful life, but do fondly recall the years we shared. at Duke.
