Our thoughts and prayers are with you today John, as you celebrate Gayle's life, and we can take comfort in what our faith teaches us - she will be praying for us now. She has completed her earthly journey and she is now enjoying her eternal rest
And to John Jr, Tim and Janelle, we pass on something we have discovered - a Mother NEVER stops being a Mother. You will always feel her gentle push toward a direction you should be going, or even a tug away from something you should avoid. Your MOM will always live on thru you.
God bless all of you, always, Betty and Wally

So sorry to hear of Gayle’s passing. Gayle had an "amazing laugh" that always made me smile and giggle. As a collegue at Waterville Senior High School, she was a pure joy to know. She had a caring, patient, and compassionate personality. Gayle truly understood the role of school in a child’s life.

So sorry to read this obituary--too soon. I have fond memories of running down to Gayle's room after school to start cutting out costumes or to start planning what outfits would work best for the current production. Mame was probably the biggest challenge we faced, but she found perfect ensembles, many from her mother's wardrobe. I can see Gayle in Heaven chatting with Lois, Roll, Rene, and Tom Furman. The guys would no doubt offer the women a martini as they planned another show. May they all rest in peace. With sympathy, Linda

I was so sorry to hear of Gayle's passing. I was a U of M classmate of hers and treasure the time we had sharing college memories at our 50th! I love this picture of her as it captures her fun-loving personality. Love and prayers to all of your family.

I have known and loved Gayle since our years together at UMO. I was so happy to realize a few years later that she would be my neighbor on our street in Winslow where families of us raised our broods of children! Those were good years! I send my heart felt sympathy and love to your family. Know that It is with great sadness that I send this note.

I was saddened to hear about Gayle. I always enjoyed spending time with her at Lido Harbour South. She was so full of life. We had a lot in common since we were both teachers and our husbands loved baseball. She will be greatly missed.

May peace be with the family members and eternal rest, peace and everlasting life with Gail. She was in the same class as my first cousin, Linda Drinkwater Trask. I will remember her smiling face.
