Debra Sue Marston, 57, of South Portland, passed away on Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.

She was born in Portland on June 17, 1959. Daughter of Carl W. and Ruth (Powe) Marston.

Deb grow up in the Portland area and later moved to Scarborough where she graduated from Scarborough High School.  After graduation, she went to work at CB Kenworth, RC Moore, Pan Atlantic Consultants and Atlantic Great Dane.

She had a great love for people, traveling and being on the beach no matter where it was.  She and her mom took many cruises enjoying themselves immensely on each one they took.

Deb was a member of the Portland VFW, Portland Eagles, Portland Moose and American Legion.

To know Deb was to truly love her, she had a heart of gold.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Jean Elliott.

She is survived by her brother Steven Marston and his wife Mary Lou, loving friend and “sister” Jan Risbara and her husband Frank, nieces Jami Barth and her husband Robert, Kelly Marston and her fiancé Aaron, Lisa Elliott and husband Steve, close friends Colleen Forti, Anne Napolitano and great nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at A. T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 25, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m at the Moose Lodge, Spring St., Scarborough.
