Deano, you will leave a huge empty space for everyone that you ever touched, but especially for those of us who had the privilege of really knowing you. We consider ourselves fortunate to have had the opportunity of sharing many good times with you. Our hearts go out to his family.

\First and foremost my heart felt prayers and condolences go out to Kendalee and Derek and the rest of Dean's family. I was also one of the lucky ones to call Dean a friend, many trips down to watch the Patriots play and the many years playing in the Touch Football League.. I saw Dean on September 24 at Sam's doing his thing, watching the Patriots, and we had the chance to share and laugh at the stories that we experienced during the many years we've known each other. He will certainly be missed, but many stories will surface the next few days and weeks ahead and shared memories are always a great ''HEALER'' ! All MY Best Dean, Rest in Peace!!

I am so sad to have read of Dean's passing. Dean was one of the rare folks that after you were done talking with him, you always left with a smile. He was the original "Guest Bartender" at Forest Gardens. Everyone came to order a beer and chat with the City's premiere personality. Dean loved to have a good time, but when it came to his career he was all business.

He was proud of the uniform his fellow fighters and serving the City of Portland. A stand up guy who left us too early.
