CAROL ANN "CAT" TIZZANO Portland—Carol Ann "Cat" Tizzano, 62, died peacefully at home on April 18, 2025, in the loving comfort of her family. She was born on January 31, 1963, in Portland, Maine, the youngest child of the late Costantino and Mary (DiFiore) Tizzano. Cat embraced life with an innocent joyful spirit. She enjoyed country music, dancing, classic television shows, bingo, games, and family gatherings. She was unbeatable at the board game Sorry and loved playing cards. She was an avid Red Sox fan. She enjoyed vacationing everywhere, especially Disney World, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and various locations throughout New England. She looked forward to spending time at Port Resources (Port Place Day Program), where she went bowling, made arts and crafts, baked, went on outings and socialized with her friends and staff. She participated in The Art of Belonging Art Show twice and sold some of her artwork. Cat treasured her summers on Brandy Pond, including boat rides, floating in the lake, potluck gatherings, petting every dog she met and saying hi to everyone she rode past while riding in the golf cart. Her proudest accomplishment was graduating Deering High School, in 1983. Cat is survived by her sister, Mildred Martin, her husband Lawrence, and her brother Louis. Her niece Jennifer Dubail and her husband Jason, her nephew Anthony Martin and his wife Holly. Great-nieces Gwyneth and Lucia Dubail and great-nephews Landon and Liam Martin, and many beloved cousins.
