Beverly Newcomb Carver April 14, 1937 January 31, 2012 Portland - Beverly (Newcomb) Carver, 74, or Portland, passed away on January 31, 2012 at the Baron Center. She was born in Scarborough on April 14, 1937, the daughter of Florence Newcomb and Eugene Lunt. She grew up in Scarborough and attended Scarborough Schools. After school, Beverly married Ernest Carver on November 3, 1956 in Portland. Together they raised two children, Deborah and Michael. Beverly was predeceased by her parents, her husband and a sister, Eleanor Adams of Westbrook. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Montgomery) and her husband Craig of Whitehall, Pennsylvania and Michael Carver of Portland. She is also survived her grandchildren, Allison Faust, Andrew Montgomery and Peter Montgomery, and one great-grandchild Madeline Faust.
